Stop and Look

I was thinking today that life always seems to turn on a dime. You never know what tomorrow holds. My father came up for the night and he said how amazing it was to him that in the last several months we have lost 3 wonderful men, My uncle Gary, my cousin Robert and of course Stephen and in the last week we have gained two new babies and Deshawn into our family. Three for three. It made me start thinking about how the Universe has a way with replacing what it has taken not only in life but in Nature as well. How everything is give and take...ying and yang if you will. We see it in the simple changing of the seasons, for every storm we endure there is great beauty and bounty behind it. I started thinking about my own life and how with every bad there has been a good, but sometimes I have been too caught up in my own world to see it. Balance is not always equal but it is there all the same. We can see it, if we stop long enough to notice.
