the week in review


This week seemed to go by very slowly. Monday I hurt my back at work and I have spent the rest of the week trying to take it easy and allow my body to heal. Unfortunately this meant no going to the gym for at least three days. It suprised me how much I really missed my workout. Going to the gym has truly become a habit for me and not doing it even for a couple of days threw my week off. I spent most of the week feeling lazy and lethargic, I'm glad I am back on schedule. I am still taking it easy, I sprained the muscles in my back which takes several weeks to heal completely. I would rather do a light workout everyday then push myself and hurt my back further. I still managed to work most of the week, I really like working at the bookstore. its fairly easy and for the most part I like the people I work with....however there is one person that is driving me crazy!!! I guess there is always at least one peson at every job, that just gets under your skin. But thats really the only complaint I have, other than that I am happy with what I am doing. So thats all for the week...not too exciting, no drama....and I like it that way!

Thanks for your comment. Sorry about your back. I find that if I can ice it each day, I feel better. There are ice packs that can be reused. Forget those therma care yucks. They don't work half as well. You are right about the partial workout. Try stretching a little before you work. Lifting your arms gently. Twisting gently. Stretching your legs gently all help. Also, putting a little bengay on prior to your workout helps as well. I use biofreeze but I don't think it is out on the market yet. I get it from my chiropractor. Love ya, kiddo. Hang in. Muff.
