TRF Weekend!

What a nice weekend we had!!! It all started Friday night with Deshawn winning his wrestling match at PCW! Sean and Gabriel had never seen him win so it was great for everyone!! D was on such a high it was almost hard to be in a car with him for the three hour ride to Plantersville! We arrived safely at the faire campgrounds at around midnight.Setting up camp in the dark was interesting to say the least, and on top of that it was VERY cold. We finally got everything set up and the four of us were fast asleep within seconds! We woke up saturday morning to a awesome sunrise and a nice warm day. We spent the day shopping at the faire, Deshawn and I were anxious to show Sean and Gabriel everything since neither of them had ever been to TRF before. We walked around and had lunch with our Austin crew and then we parted ways so that we could finish our shopping. Gabriel found Christmas presents for both his Mom and Brother, Sean and I took care of presents for my Mom as well as Sean's other Grandmother. I found the perfect gifts for my husband, and even bought Sean a pair of tights as part of his new Faire Costume! Then we all met up at the closing of faire to watch the fireworks together...which by the way were AWESOME. Then we headed back to camp to get ready for some fire spinning and drumming. Gabriel has never seen Deshawn spin before so he was really excited. Sunday came before you knew it...Deshawn broke camp and packed up while Sean, Gabriel and I headed back to the Faire to catch some shows and have a nice leisurely day. D and the Austin gang headed out about noon to make the trip back to Austin, while me and the boys stayed behind and enjoyed the day together. We walked through the Magic Garden, watched Cast in Bronze and Tartanic which are both amazing musical shows.We caught the Ded Bob show, which was hilarious, and watched a juggling act before we headed back to Dallas. It was a great weekend for everyone but I think we are all glad to be home in our warm beds!
