job update
Big surprise.....today I was fired for being "unreliable" I went in after class today to try and talk to my boss...she claimed that she was too busy. Granted this is our busy time of year but I was brushed off and I knew it. Later I called to tell her that I was still having problems with my back and she told not to bother coming in at all. I can't say I am shocked. I believe that everything happens for a reason...even if we don't like the reason. I am taking 13 credit hours this semester and maitaining my 3.9 GPA is far more important to me than a 7 dollar an hour job, to say nothing of the fact that my health is worth WAY more than that! Deshawn and I talked and we can make it without me working...things will be tighter but we can do it. So I plan on doing some house cleaning for extra cash but other than that I am going to focus on my school. If things get really tight I can always find a retail job somewhere.

Sorry about the job, Kiddo. I know it is difficult to work when you hurt. I realize also that it is difficult when you can't get treatment for the pain because you don't have the money. Ice packs come in handy and a bag of frozen peas works just as well. Please don't do what I did and put the cold directly on your skin. I managed to have a lovely freezer burn which was not nice. Before you do any work, try stretching a little. You know, reach to the sky type. Backs tend to appreciate warnings before you put them to work. Keep up the good work with your classes. It will be nice to have a McDonald graduate in the near future. I am rooting for you. You have a lot of determination and D is great support. I hope his wrestling is going well. My love to you all.
