Today was the first Saturday my husband has had off in months so we decided to take the dogs to White Rock Lake. We normally don't take the puppies because Layla does not play well with others.However we what to start including the dogs in some of our outdoor activities like going to the lake, hiking and camping. I hate leaving them home, or worse putting them in a kennel!In our drive around the lake today we found a new Dog park! What a great opportunity to try to get Layla accustomed to being around other dogs and people!At first she was all over the place, and we had to keep her on her leash, but eventually she calmed down and we were able to let her run free. She was a very happy dog and Peanut was so excited to have her to play with! After making some new puppy friends at the park we took them down to the lake for a swim. Layla took right to the water, Peanut was not that thrilled with it. All in all we had a great day with our fury friends and plan on making it a weekly ritual!

Love your pictures and thanks for your comments on my blog. I can't wait to see you in August. Good luck with your insurance. That is a big step but make sure you are truely serious. I had my stomach stappled and I put almost all of the 180 lbs back because I wasn't willing to really make the changes I needed. You sound like you are serious and I do believe you can do it. You are one of the most determined individuals I know. Sic em, KID!!!!!!!
