The Reunion and the trip were FANTASTIC! Not only did I get to get out of the Texas heat but I got to see the most beautiful scenery along the way. But the real gift of this journey was spending time with my Father, my cousins and my Aunt. I was given the opportunity to have some wonderful, deep conversations with Marie Fay, as well as get to spend some time doing what we both love...taking pictures. I also got the acceptance I was longing for from both my cousins Evie and Maureen. These two women amaze me. They are both filled with such love, compassion and understanding it just blows my mind. For me,however, the most precious gift was the time spent with Dad. One never knows what time you are given on this Earth and it was so important to me to have that time with my Father. Dad, I know you are reading this...I love you more than you know. Thank you.
