Than spending time with good friends. One of my dearest and oldest friends Jeff Thompson came home this week. Jeff joined the navy right after 9/11 and I have only seen him a couple of times since then. His family still lives here so he took leave and came home for the Holidays. It was great to see him and to finally introduce him to Deshawn. They hit it off so well it was a little scary but I couldn't be more thrilled!!! Often we let friends slip through our lives especially when we move. Jeff is one of those friends that I can go for months without talking to and then when we do get a chance to talk it's like we never stopped! We have been through the joy of Marriage the bitterness of divorce and the sorrow of loss of loved ones together. I am truly blessed to have him in my life and am incredibly grateful that we are still as close as ever, after all these years!
