It's that time of year....

It's getting close to that time of year...the Holiday season. A time when families get together and share love and joy with each other, spend the day talking about fond memories or watching the kids play with their cousins that they have not seen in a year.At least thats how the holidays are in my head...but my holidays have not been that Hallmark ever. I have had wonderful holiday seasons don't get me wrong. I have great memories of Christmas with my Grandmother, singing songs and listening to her recite the Littlest Angel, My first Thanksgiving with my Dad after a 10 year separation, Stephen and Sean's first Holiday season...all wonderful. The last couple of years have not been that wonderful. My family is so spread out, and half are not speaking to the other half and it seems now that we just all do our own thing.I wish I had the power to get all of them together for one Huge Holiday celebration...All of the Bailey's, The Coleman's, the Fox's, the Martins, the Madrid's, the McDonald's,The Helm's and The Darby's...everyone! All of us together just once in my lifetime would be a great gift, and an impossible feat. I try not to get the Holidays blues but I miss so many people these days. The older I get the more good-byes I seem to say. This year Deshawn and I are going our separate ways, he will be with his family and I will be with Chels and Scott. I love being with Chels and her family,we always have a lot of laughs, but its not the same.Depending on the arrival of the twins Sean will either be with friends or with Eden. HOOOHUMMMM Holidays blues suck!
