much needed Vacation

Going to Austin is always a good thing for us, this weekend was no differant. We arrived thurday evening and had a nice relaxing night with Michael and Michelle. We talked about Stephen, the Wedding, and everything else in between. It was very healing. Friday Deshawn and Sean helped Michael finish some yard projects in prepartion for our handfasting and I cleaned some for Michelle. Friday night Danielle and Julian came over and we sat around drinking and talking about wedding stuff...It was great to have two women around me that not only are SOOO excited about this wedding but also have such wonderful energy and healing words. We talked about kids in general, the changes our lives are going through, our men and the differant stages we all in in our own relationships. Michelle and Michael have been together for at least 14 years and have reached the "comfortable" place, Danielle and Julian are a new couple, still in that "I can't get enough of you" phase and Deshawn and I are 3 weeks away from getting married, it was nice to share experiences and stuff. Saturday we got up fairly early, Deshawn went to Danielle's son Bodie's baseball game, Sean took off with Michael and his son Avery to Lake Travis for some fishing and rock climbing and Michelle, her daughter Malie, and I went shopping for wedding decorations, flowers, and plants for the new gardens. I very rarely get to spend time with JUST Michelle and Malie, and we had a blast!!! We acted goofy and laughed alot. We now have all the decorations and table stuff for the wedding!! The only thing we were not able to find are my flowers...who new burgundy flowers would be so hard to find. Michelle was able to find all the herbs she wanted to plant in her garden plus some beautiful gladiolas, violets, and a gardenia plant! The yard is going to look so wonderful for the wedding, I can't wait!! Saturday night we had a PARTY...which always seems to happen when Deshawn and I come to town. And as usual an impromptu fire show happened. Sean practiced his routine for the wedding, and actually spun fire for the first time. He is a Natural!!! He did so good...I should have pictures soon!! the party continued in to the wee hours of the morning, needless to say the drive back today Sucked. But we got home safe and sound. I had a great time, relaxed and got some much needed rejuvenation!
