Scarborough Faire
It was opening weekend at my favorite Ren faire this weekend. I have been going to Scarborough Faire for 16 years now. I even spent two years as a gypsie on cast. My boys literally grew up at this Faire. I knew that opening day would be both happy and sad for me, many of the perfomers knew Stephen but I was unable to get in touch with them when he passed away so I had to break the bad news to them. I was met with lots of love and hugs and some tears. But all these wonderful people shared their many memories of him with me and we spent alot of time laughing about Stephen's crazy antics. I was not there alone. my dear friend Jacki was with me as well as my Mom. It was nice to spend the day with them. It was the weirdest day though....in all my years going to this faire I have seen some odd weather, rain, blazing sun,but never in all that time have I seen SNOW on opening day. Yes thats right folks it SNOWED in april..in TEXAS!!! I was very greatful for the warm cape my wonderful future husband bought for me for a wedding gift..it came in handy and kept me warm in the cold snow. Mom and I laughed alot about Texas people not being used to cold weather, and Jacki surprised me with beautiful broom as a wedding gift. All in all it was a lovely weekend.

Boy, do I sympathize with the snow.
We had to cancel our opening ceremonies and games because it was tooooo cold. You know that cold does not do well with aluminum bats. You hit a ball and you vibrate all over. Glad you had the cape and that you had a good time.
Luv ya, Kiddo.
In answer to your question about Curves, yes it is. You have to commit to three weeks of exercise(3 a week) and two profiles. One in the beginning and one at the end. You do not have to be a member of Curves and it will cost your $20.00(refundable). The idea is to get a non-exerciser use to
exercising. Of course, they want you to join but you don't have to.
However, they will probably offer a special.
