What a great time the three of us had camping this past weekend. We headed out of Dallas Friday morning and arrived at the Earth Spiritual Alliance camp site just outside of Austin in time to set up camp before sunset. The campgrounds are absolutely beautiful!! Tons of trees, wonderful flowers,and great people! ESA land is home to some great people and we had such a good time getting to know some of them. Sean and I aren't big on camping but Deshawn was right at home, and eventually Sean and I got used to roughing it! Our friends Danielle and Julian drove out with us and we met up with more friends out there including Deshawn's brother Tabber who we have not seen since October last year! Friday night we spent sitting by the campfire talking and playing drums and just relaxing. Saturday Sean and I went on a hike together and spent some quality Mom and kid time while Deshawn caught up with Tabber. Saturday night there was a huge bonfire with about 75 people sitting around. Several people spun fire and danced, it was amazing and very spiritually uplifting! Sunday we spent time with our friends before we broke camp and headed home. It was a Great weekend, but I am glad to be home....I missed my nice soft bed and the air conditioning!
