11 1/2 inches of snow was the final count here in Mesquite! Unbelievable! It is absolutely beautiful outside. I have been here in Texas for the majority of my adult life but I do have very fond memories of making snow angels and snow forts in our back yard with my sisters in New York, or going tennis shoe skiing down the street in Virginia with my buddy Yvonne.The Texans are freaking out over all of this which makes me laugh. I am glad that it doesn't do this all the time here, because when we do get snow like this I am able to bask in the beauty of it all instead of taking it for granted. It is a good day to build a fire, dust off my favorite movies and cuddle up with my wonderful Husband and my toasty warm dogs!

You can have it. I am glad you are enjoying it with D and the dogs. I believe your choice of company is excellent. Of course, I would prefer Cashew but I will not fault you. I don't think your father is enjoying his snow as much.
