I now have two weeks under my belt of the new semester. Things kicked off with a bang, with two reflection papers and a book review due in the first week. The classes I am taking are all degree specific so I am excited and eager to learn all I can. There has been some changes in the Social Science department so the Professor I signed up for is no longer teaching my classes, I was a bit bummed because I really like the Lady and have learned so much from her in the past two semester, but Michael Becerra,(the new guy)seems to know his stuff and he is fairly new to the field...offering a fresh perspective.I spent some time at the beginning of the semester making sure I am still on the right track and found that my coursework will not be done by fall as a had hoped so I am looking at next May(2010)as my target graduation date. I was so upset at the time, I really wanted to graduate this fall and move on to UTA by next spring, but I am a firm believer that everything happens for a reason. I found out that they do not offer as many scholarship in the spring and that if I transferred mid-year to UTA my chances of getting a full ride were less than 30%. So, even though I am anxious to get a move on it is best for me to take my time and do things right in order to get the funds I need to continue my education. So onward and upward we go.....
