Deshawn and I finally got to go see "The Wrestler" tonight. First let me just say that Mickey Rourke and Marissa Tomei turn in amazing performances in this film. I am not a big fan of Mickey Rourke, in fact I thought that his career was based on luck rather than talent, but I was truly impressed with him. The length of time an athlete stays in a sport has always been a hot debate in our house. Deshawn's dream is to be a active wrestler until the days he dies...I feel that a true athlete knows when to bow out with dignity and grace. This movie showed both the love of the game and when enough is enough. It brought both of us to tears and hit a little too close to home. It was a good film though, whether you are a fan of wrestling or not.

Glad you enjoyed the movie. As long as wrestling is fun for D and he stays healthy, I say let him decide. The body will tell him when.
I am so glad you two are together. I believe it is definately a good thing.
Love ya both,
Muff
